Joseph Kendrick Irby IV and Myra Sue Graham Irby celebrated their 50th Wedding anniversary on Saturday, September 6. The event was held at their sons House in The Dalles, where they shared a time of great food and fellowship with Their immediate family. Home movies of their wedding taken by Ed Irby in 1953 Were shown, then all children shared a memorable moment in their lives about What their mom and dad had meant, and still mean, to them. This was followed By a renewal of their marriage vows, and a continuing covenant with God to love, Nuture, respect and to continue to grow with each other. They have a total of five sons, five daughters, and eleven grandchildren all of Which range in age from 5 through 48 years of age. They attribute their many Years of marriage to always putting God first in their lives and to ask Him to Change their hearts first towards one another when conflict would arise.
