Inmate Dies in Klickitat Jail The death of a 49-year-old man who died in the Klickitat County [Washington] Jail on September 30 [2003] is still under investigation. Glen Earl Spaulding died in the jail on September 30. He had been booked into the jail for driving while under the influence of Alcohol and/or drugs, according to a press release from the Klickitat County Sheriffs office. During a routine bed check, he was discovered unresponsive. Medics arrived on The scene and determined that Spaulding was deceased. The preliminary investigation indicates no sign of foul play regarding the Death. The Klickitat County Coroners office and the Sheriffs office detective Division is continuing the investigation.
