Surnames: Actis, Gozzano, Grimes, Davis Frank Charles Actis, Sr., 93, a resident of The Dalles area since 1969, died at A local care facility Thursday, October 16, 2003. Frank was born May 27, 1910 in Walkerville, Montana, the youngest of three Children to Frank and Elivia (Gozzano) Actis. He grew up and attended schools In Butte, Montana. He married Ruth Eleanor Grimes on September 20, 1929 in Anaconda, Montana and They lived in Montana until moving to The Dalles in 1969. He had several small businesses in Montana and sold insurance. He was a member of St. Peters Catholic Church and enjoyed people. He is survived by his son and his wife, Frank C. Actis, Jr. and Peggy, Denver, Colorado; three grandchildren and their spouses, Steve and Teresa Actis, Katy, Texas; Elaine and Chris Davis, Edmond, Oklahoma; Frank J. Actis, Colorado Springs, Colorado; eight great-grandchildren, John, Cecilia, Brian, Laura, Jeff, Tony, Lisa, Kevin; and four nieces and a nephew. He was preceded in death by His wife, Ruth in May 1996. Viewing visitation will be held at Spencer, Libby and Powell Funeral Home on Sunday, October 19, 2003 from 2 to 5 p.m. and Monday, from u:30 to 10 a.m. Mass of Christian burial will be held at St. Peters Catholic Church on Monday, October 20, 2003 at 11 a.m. with Reverend Todd Unger officiating.
