Surnames: James, Peterson, Nail, Salisbury, Duncan, Bynum, Sanders Bradford Alvin James, 53, a resident of The Dalles, died at his home Sunday, October 19, 2003. He was born April 23, 1950 in Grand Rapids, Minnesota, the youngest of three Children to Ervin Rueben and Norma Louise (Peterson) James. He lived in Minnesota and moved to The Dalles in 1959 and attended Chenowith School. He served in the U.S. Army in 1967 and returned to The Dalles after his Discharge. He also lived in Pilot Rock [Oregon] for 12 years in the 1970s And 1980s. He enjoyed the outdoors, hunting, fishing, taxidermy and Indian lore. He is survived by his father, E.R. James, Vancouver, Washington; three Sisters, Diane L. (James) Nail, Pahrump, Nevada; Sandra K. (James) Salisbury, Vancouver; Suzanne M. James, Vancouver; his brother, Jon B. Duncan, Bend [Oregon]; his step-son, Robert Bynum, Pendleton [Oregon]; his step- daughter, Sharyn Bynum, Pendleton; five nephews, Donald J. Salisbury, Gladstone [Oregon]; Darren J. Salisbury, Vancouver; R. Scott Sanders, Gardnerville, Nevada; Caleb and Elijah Duncan, both of Bend; and his niece Melissa A. Salisbury, Vancouver. He was preceded in death by his mother Norma L. (Peterson) Duncan in February 1995. Memorial services will be held at a later date. Private cremation was held At The Dalles Win-quatt Crematory with Spencer, Libby and Powell Funeral Home in care of arrangements. Memorials may be made to St. Vincent de Paul, P.O.
