    3. Surnames: Hulse, Taylor, Uhalde, Dousay, Chamberlain, Hoffer Paul Taylor Hulse, 86, a resident of Dufur [Oregon], died at his home on Thursday, October 2, 2003. He was born December 4, 1916, in Moro [Oregon], the oldest of three children To Roy Paul and Mary Jane (Taylor) Hulse. He was raised on the farm on Tygh Ridge and graduated from Dufur [Oregon] High School with the class of 1935. Paul served in the U.S. Army during WWII and returned to Dufur after the war. He married Coramae Hoffer on March 31, 1946 in The Dalles and together farmed On Tygh Ridge and the Dufur Valley. He was a member of Dufur Christian Church and had served as chairman of the Board, Masonic Lodge, Oregon Wheat Growers League, Cattleman’s Association, Dufur Recreation Board and R.E.A. He had been active with Wasco County Fair And was the 1st to have a camping trailer at the Wasco County Fair. He enjoyed Being with his family and grandchildren, loved The Trail Band, reading, the Outdoors, hunting and the ocean. Paul is survived by his wife Coramae; his son, Michael P. Hulse; his daughter, Carmagene and her husband, Don Uhalde, all of Dufur; grandchildren, Taylor Hulse and Chelsie Hulse, both of Dufur; Jordan Uhalde, Bend [Oregon]; Joshua And his wife, Vanessa Uhalde, Dufur; Russ and his wife, Michele Harrington, Benton City, Washington; Rick and his wife, Bobbi Harrington, The Dalles; Latitia Dousay, The Dalles; 8 great-grandchildren and one brother, William L. And his wife, Roseanne Hulse, Dufur. He was preceded in death by his father, Mother and sister, Janet Mary Chamberlain. Viewing visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 7, from 2 to 7 p.m. and On Wednesday from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. at Spencer, Libby and Powell Funeral Home. Memorial services will be held on Wednesday, October 8, 2003 at 11 a.m. at Dufur Christian Church with Pastor Bob Peterson and Asa Jenson officiating.
