LL Gilson; No, we are not related to the Guys of The Dalles, OR. GUY is my husband's name; and his family of GUY came from England>upstate NY>Spring Valley, Mower, Co., MN. The GUY name originated in Normandy (of France) name. There is quite a colony of GUYs, from early days, in St. Mary's County, MD and from a brochure, I picked up there, it seems that some migrated to KY (the bourbon country). If you want the name of the St. May's County, MD genealogy society, write to me personally. (We do have one GUY, our son, living there.)
