John and Floydene Lyon of Klickitat [Washington] will observe their 50th wedding Anniversary at the Shilo Inn as Seaside, on August 14, starting at 6 p.m. The celebration of their golden nuptials will be hosted by their children Jmie, Kathy, Mary, Steve and JoDean. They were married August 25, 1954 in Libby, Montana. He worked in the lumber Industry in Klickitat County for many decades. He retired in 1998 and still Enjoys motorcycle trips, bowling, golfing and grandkids. She kept busy as a Housewife with five children and a hang-gliding mountain climbing husband. She Even went to the top of the South Sister with John in the mid 70s. Currently She maintains an active membership in The Dalles Athletic Club and the Rebekah Lodge in Goldendale. In addition to their off-spring, the couple boast 12 Grandchildren and three great-grandsons.
