Jarding – LaFond Wedding Jessica Jarding and Nicholas LaFond were married March 23, 2004, at the Wasco County Courthouse. She is the daughter of Dennis and Sherry Stephenson and Tim and Jan Jarding, The Dalles. He is the son of Jack and Debbie LaFond, also of The Dalles. The couple graduated from The Dalles High School in June 2002. She attended Columbia Gorge Community College for one year before transferring to the Oregon Institute of Technology in Klamath Falls [Oregon] where she is majoring In radiology. He enlisted in the Oregon Army National Guard in March, 2001, and graduated from Ft. Knox, Kentucky in August 2002. He then began attending Oregon Institute of Technology, where he is majoring in land surveying. The couple will continue to live in Klamath Falls until June, when Nick will Be sent to Ft. Bliss, Texas, for infantry training before being deployed Overseas. She plans on returning to O.I.T. this fall to continue her education.
