Vermillion, 28, Hood River, truck driver, and Jessie Hoofman, 22, also of Hood River, were married by rev. C.A. Edwards here last night after having obtained a marriage license from the county clerk. Harold V. Simmons, 26 and Emma H. Buskuhl, 18, were married by Rev. F.L. Johns this morning. SImmons was in charge of the federal farm labor bureau here this summer. The young couple will take a honeymoon trip through southern Oregon. Both were of Dufur. Louis J. Gates, 56, grain buyer, and Margaret J. Nisbet, 46, were married this morning by Rev. Edwards.
