All of this sharing of resources has been wonderful. Thank you all for opening those resources up to all of us. I'll post my very short list later this weekend, but most of what I have is being transcribed for the website. I do have a couple of copyrighted items that are limited to lookups, though. Those of you who have offered to do lookups for the list: please contact me directly (off-list) to let me know if you would be willing to have your name & resources listed at the Wasco Co. GenWeb site for lookups. That would be wonderful. Earline beat me to the punchline by just a nose, with her posting about the Columbia Gorge Genealogy Society. However, since she did leave out one of the most important aspects, I still want to add to her post. :-) The Society's dues are very, very reasonable, and your contributions to CGGS will help to further the cause of genealogical research in Wasco County by providing funding for their special projects, such as materials purchases for their library, cemetery cleanup & recording possibilities, reprinting of books that are of historical value to Wasco County, and availability of general research materials for all of us. Please support the CGGS -- I am going to be writing out a check for that purpose when I pay bills tomorrow, so this seemed like a good time to remind all of you. The Society is a great group of people, some of whom have been extremely helpful to me and to our website (right, Earline?). Please give them your support.
