Ron: No, I do not know any Hancock or Creel people; If they attended Dufur HS from 1937-38 school year on, I would not know them. As I recall, some of your people were from Wolf Run area?? They would probably go to Dufur, although, in those days, we had what was known as Non-High School Districts, and could choose. This was the reason my parents chose to send us to The Dalles HS, although my sibblings returned to the Dufur Schools.. As I recall, some Tygh Valley students were bussed to Dufur, while others went to Maupin HS.
