April 27, 1928: Local Weddings - Miss Janette Mae Nelson and Philip Sorahan, the later of Susanville, Claif., were united in marriage at the Methodist parsonage last Friday evening. Rev. Charles A. Edwards officiating. Miss Nelson is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. David Nelson of this city. Immediately following the ceremony the young couple left on a honeymoon trip to Spokane. Upon their return they will make their home in The Dalles.
