In the New Brunswick, Canada, newspaper "Carleton Sentinel", dated 9 Jun 1883, there is a notice reading: "d. Willow Springs, Umatilla Co., Oregon, 14th ult., Daniel DENNING, formerly of Eel River (Carleton Co.) N.B. Full particulars of his death can be obtained by addressing G.W. DeBECK, Pendleton, Umatilla Co., Oregon." I believe that Daniel is brother to my great great grandfather, John Patrick DINNIN, but have been able to find no cemetery info on him. The surname Dinnin has been spelled many different ways, including by the family, and Denning is one of the ways. The family had settled in Carleton and York Counties in New Brunswick. I would appreciate it if someone could look up a death record and/or obit for Daniel. I'd like to confirm the relationship, if at all possible.
