I'm trying to learn more about the death of my cousin's grgrandfather Michael Doherty, whose burial card says died in Meacham, OR in May 1915, at the age of 90, though he was buried with his wife in Evanston, IL. Unfortunately, there is no death certificate on file, and I'm hoping there might be a newspaper article somewhere that would explain what he was doing in Oregon. Many thanks for any help!
