I am going to make a trip to Whitman College library to read microfilm next week. I will check the Walla Walla, Washington, paper and see if Jiney A. Frazier Curl is mentioned. Obits in that time frame don't tell the family members, but should mention who she was married to. Walla Walla is 15 miles from Milton-Freewater, Oregon. I don't believe Milton-Freewater papers are on microfilm at Whitman, but I will check and see. I think by 1913, births, deaths and marriages were required to be reported to the State of Oregon. You can go to the site below and see when they started recording them at state level. It will also give you the address and fees. U. S.
