Days gone by 100 years ago today In the Armory hall at Walla Walla, the poultry and pet stock show opened Tuesday. Roosters were crowing, hens cackling in their important way, and the big room was filled with fine fowls from a dozen towns. The show runs through until tomorrow when final awards are to be made on the exhibitions which are being made. It is not a small exhibition of birds, by any means, and visitors will find at the hall one of finest collections of poultry ever exhibited. 50 years ago today Milton-Freewater - The Fellowship Men's group of the Federated church held the annual dinner for their wives last evening in the church basement.
