Hello, I do need some help with the following Alfort family of Walla Walla Coubnty prob in the Waitsburg area. Burials in Cemeteries,. Church records, City directories, Newspapers, land, marriages of Rose Mae Alfort and others etc. Thank anyone who can help me much.I am 75 yrs old and bneed to try to finish this genealogy of my family. ( May been Otto) son age 8 b Wash. " " NOTE: My assumption to all of this. The Katherine Buehrer is a granmother. Must be mother of Frances and Edward and as she states her son Edward's fa as b Switzerland and Frances states her fa b on 1 census but the other 2 census later she states her fa b in Austria. Take in hand that many census takers have written things down in wrong places as well as writing and spelling wasn't always correct. So more research could tell which is correct.. If Katherine used her married name here as a most likely, then FRances J is her dau. and Frances married name would be Buehrer. Also fact that she immigrated before in 1861 that Otto Alfort immigrated in 1874 also say's that he came after Katherine did to USA. and was B in Prussia, ( Germany). At that time Prussia was part of Germany. Also notice Rosa Mae Alfort was b according to Census imfo in abt 1911. . I went to the SSDI and found the ERNEST W ALFORT's death . b 7 Nov 1913 and died 14 Mar 1990 in Waitsburg, Walla Walla Co. Wa SS . issued in Oreg. Now to check Cemeteries in Walla Walla County area for the Alfort boys. Wern't on SSDI. Also this is what I was told about 1930's The Alfort wheat ranch hired Emanuel Lloyd to work for them on wheat ranch. He would take his kids there with him and they would play with others there etc. In the summer time.. ..Ernestine mar Lloyd 6 Feb. 1921 in Freewater Ore. Divorced ???? Maxine Wilton [email protected]
