    3. This film is available thru all LDS branch libraries. It can be ordered for $3.25 for a three week period which can be renewed. If you live anywhere near Portland, OR, I have it on indefinite loan at the East Portland Branch Library, NE 105th and Tillamook. It covers the time period from about 1888 thru 1980(?). Those time periods are very rough. Of course, not all obituaries for persons in those communities are included. Most of the information comes from the Milton Eagle and its successors in the Milton-Freewater area. The information in each entry is abbreviated as the intent is to have persons interested check the actual obit. I am a Milton-Freewater native. The first time I reviewed the film, I was only checking for specific surnames; now, I'm reading it almost entry by entry for historical content. There are indexes and the film is divided into four time periods. Hope this helps. Pauline
