Mrs. Moore, 84, Hermiston, formerly of Adams, died Wednesday, Jan. 23, 1985, at Good Samaritan Care Center, Hermiston. She was born Sept. 11, 1900 at Perry, Okla., the daughter of George M. and Eva Ann (McDorman) Jerome. On July 7, 1921 she married John Dayton Moore. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Later-day Saints. Survivors include sons. Edward Moore, Hermiston, Earl M. Moore, Fruitland, Idaho, Tom Eugene Moore, Salt Lake City, Utah, and Dayton J. Moore, Valencia, Calif.; daughters, Oberta L. Smith, Vivian Z. McDowell, and Jane L. Caputo, all of Hermiston, Marie Inez Staples, Grants Pass, and Wilma B. Cruise, Garibaldi; sisters Wanda Wagner, in Nebraska, Velma Seward, Sequim, Wash., Beulah McNeece, Port Angeles, Wash.; 36 grandchildren, 45 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild. Her husband died in 1980 and a daughter, Fern Alice Staats, died in 1981.
