The East Oregonian Thursday, November 10, 1983 Donald R. George HERMISTON – Memorial service for Donald Ray George will begin 10 a.m. Saturday at Burns Mortuary Chapel in Hermiston, with private cremation. George, 70, died Tuesday at Amber Valley Care Center, Pendleton. He was born at Agency, Mo., June 3, 1913, and moved to Hermiston from Drain seven years ago. He had served in the Navy. Surviving are his wife, Lola George, Hermiston; daughters Betty Roehl of Woodenville Wash., and Jeanette Simpson of Drain; brother Roy of St. Joseph, Mo.; sister Ethel McBride of Snohomish, Wash.; six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Memorial contributions may be made to the Cancer Fund.
