hello Storm, Your story reminds me of a Wedding that was in 1950's in Standfield , Umatilla Co Ore.Abt 1954/6. This couple, Jim and Laura, ( memory of name) got married one day in Standfield, or . The guys made him wheel her down the main drag in a wheel barrell after. they also put limburger cheese on the manifold or rather i think it was the head of their car while the wedding was going on. When they left for their Honeymoon, they didn't get very far due to the awful smell. later they even had to get rid of their car as I remember as the smell all through upholstry etc, airing out didn't get it out even tho they changed the head etc on car. maybe someone else may have remembered this incident as i am sending it to Umatilla Co. Or list. We had lived in Ordinance , Ore. at the Army depot housing project before it was turned into a Pig Farm by I think Sen Hansen ?,, at the time as they also lived there after marriage.
