Later, when SPARKS settled in Pendleton, Elijah's son, John Francis PERRY came and stayed with SPARKS for a length of time. John met his bride at this time, and married her in Lakeview. Hello Mary, I believe we have corresponded before and that we concluded the same thing....that there should probably be a connection but we couldn't find it. My g-grandfather, Rev./Dr. Jesse Lee WOOD and wife Mary Eliza "Molly" Hathaway (Fuson) WOOD didn't come to OR until ca. 1890 which is later than your family.
