Back in 1999 I posted a query to the list and recieved many helpful replies. I was looking for info about my grandfather who died in a auto-cattle truck accident in "the Dalles" back in 1956. There were two members who really went way out of their way to help and their personal interest and advise was so helpful that now, that I might be finally able to visit the area I would like to write them again before I do. This is a different Edward Clark than I knew as he lived in Pendelton, or and was an Aty and was still living in 1980's. I knew him. Edward Joel Clark. I also had looked this up for someone lately. He lived in Pendelton for quite a long time as I used him in 1961 and also in 1979 and was a Atty there. Maybe this Ed Clark mentioned here,was a son or a cousin???? I am looking for descendants of Eli Stewart and Anne C. Brandenburg. They were donation Land Claims in 1850-1853. On the Portland Ore Census 1850, eventually moved to Alta, now Pilot Rock and died there. I posted this one quiet some time ago, will try again. My gg grandparents were Samuel & Louisa Bunch. They are buried in the Athena Cemetery. I know when they died, but would like to get copies of their obits if possible. Does someone know which newspapers there were for Adams, Oregon in 1932?
