Owen Martin who moved to Washington Territory after the Civil War. The last record of the family I have is the 1880 census showing the family living in Milton twp., Umatilla, Oregon, where John was farming. The names of the children living with them at the time were Monroe (21 years old, working as a teamster), Samuel (20 years old, also a teamster), J. Crittenden (19, laborer) William (15, laborer), Clay Dean, (10), Serilda (8), Ada (3), and Rosa (2). John's parents were possibly James and Rebecca Martin of Ohio. Nancy's parents were Samuel and Margaret Owen. Does anyone know anything about this family? I would appreciate any help.

He was married in 1909 using his birth name but by the time of the census enumeration in 1910 he was using another name. Thanks. KV [email protected]
