People who developed Groups.io also included those originally from Google Groups. He is also survived by a niece Marcella GUAY of Maple Valley, WA. The album includes a total of 39 photographs including both portraits and snap shots + printed copies of some of the portraits along with the prayer card and obituary for George. Based on limited research I was able to locate the following information regarding the family: Theodore JOHNSON was b. 1876 and died 1940 and is buried in the Pine Grove Cemetery in Rock Creek, MN. Anna JOHNSON was b. 9 May 1881 and died 24 Sept 1943 and is buried in the Pine Grove Cemetery in Rock Creek, MN. Floyd, George, Arnold, Edith, and Roland JOHNSON are the children of Charley E. JOHNSON (1866-1919) and Anna NELSON (b. 1886). Floyd Eberhard or Aberhard JOHNSON (1909-1985); George Theodore JOHNSON (b. 1910); Arnold R. Roland Fredolph JOHNSON was b. 12 Sept 1914 in Pine, MN and married Margaret Ione BOWERS (1918-2008) and he died 17 Feb 1979 in Clarissa, MN. Martha Helen SUISTE was b. 25 Nov 1910 in Butter Creek, OR to parents Joseph Napoleon SUISTE (1864-1925) and Wilhelmina Josephine FIX (1870-1935). Martha was one of 12 children born to this couple including, Louis Henry; Andrew Joseph; Lucia or Lucille Cecelia; Rose Louisa; Leo Anthony; Agnes Elizabeth; Albert Lawrence; Emily Regina; Martha Helen; Mary Patricia; Esther Ann or Anna; and Edwin Francis SUISTE, all born between 1899 and 1914. Martha married George T. JOHNSON (1910-1995) on 14 Sept 1941. It appears that Martha was previously married to Neil Orven POSTON (1907-1993). I've "rescued" an old photograph of Gertrude MCKRAY and Verda SCOTT of Bucoda (Washington I believe) who were "Best of Friends". In addition it is noted that Gertrude's brother (believed to be Milton)married Verda's sister (believed to be Hattie). The photograph appears to have been taken in the early 1900's with the two young women likely in their teens at the time. Based on limited research I was able to gather the following details regarding this family: Gertrude May MCKRAY was b. 19 Nov 1889 in Yale, KS to parents Almon Richard MCKRAY (1842-1915) and Ellen Nancy ADAMSON (1847-1928). Gertrude was one of 6 children born to this couple including, Charles J.; Clara Louretta; Milton Elmer; Estella Belle; Nellie Emma; and Gertrude May MCKRAY. Gertrude married John Lewis YANTIS Jr. (1890-1983) and together they had 7 children including, Bernice Ellen Helen; John Lewis; and Richard Almon or Milton or Tower YANTIS. Gertrude died on 8 Dec 1981 and is buried in the Milton-Freewater IOOF Cemetery in Milton-Freewater, OR. The MCKRAY surname was sometimes changed to MCREA or MCCRAY by some family members through time. Verda Viola SCOTT was b. 1890 and married Conrad O. MANNES (1885-1953) on 18 Jun 1911 with Verda's hometown noted as Elma, WA and Conrad's as Minneapolis, MN. They had a son, Conrad Peter MANNES. Verda was married a second time to Mr. NIELSEN and she died in 1978 and is buried in the Acacia Memorial Park and Funeral Home Cemetery in Lake Forest Park, WA. Verda's sister was Hattie SCOTT (b. abt 1875 in Illinois) and she married Milton MCKRAY (b. 22 Dec 1872 in Girard, KS - d. 3 Jun 1949 in Hoquiam, WA) and together they had a son, Elmer M. MCKRAY b. 1896. Census records provide the following details: 1900 census of Welch, Cherokee Nation, Indian Territory: Jerome SCOTT, age 55 Sarah A. SCOTT, age 51 Charles W. SCOTT, age 21 Walter W. I'm trying to learn more about the death of my cousin's grgrandfather Michael Doherty, whose burial card says died in Meacham, OR in May 1915, at the age of 90, though he was buried with his wife in Evanston, IL. Unfortunately, there is no death certificate on file, and I'm hoping there might be a newspaper article somewhere that would explain what he was doing in Oregon. Many thanks for any help! The Purchase family weren't the fake round-up's that put the boots on every week just for round-up. We were rodeo kids who participated all over the country. To see the people who aren't related to Morrison's on this list and to see people like myself and my Uncle Jack Purchase not listed is kind of ridiculous. Especially the way that these people wouldn't crawl out of bed if they heard the Morrison name, but if it's the Hales name they are ready to get a selfie. Great-Grandpa Hales would not be pleased with a lot of this. Kate Hales was sure a great lady and I can't say much for the Trowbridge's. I'm writing a whole memoir about Seasons on the Ranch and it is going to be juicy. You read the father son director? John and Dick? Plus I've got Finis Kirkpatrick in my heritage. Shoot I don't see why you didn't put his name up there besides those old lizard lip Trobridge's? I never backed down from what I had to do as a poor Scottish farmer. I wrote my poems like Great-great-Granddaddy McIntyre did while I did my time for being bipolar. I read about some rodeo blood out at Adams and that was our cousins Brad and Steve Johnson on Greasewood Creek. Brad had my disease and he overdosed on cocaine. Those guys can rope and rodeo. All those others are one hit wonders that cling to The Round-Up because they are flat foots that have no skills or talent. In 1872, he built a large home on the Walla Walla river near Tum-a-Lum. The two story home was considered a mansion by local 19th century standards, so it is difficult to see why he would have rented in Walla Walla. I am interested in ANY biographical information regarding Thomas K. McCoy, as I am the current deed holder of his Umatilla county homestead property. According to Oregon death index, she died 25 Nov. 1952 in Umatilla County. Her husband was Clarence Shultz. I live in Washington state and would appreciate any advice or guidance in how to obtain the obit. Thanks! Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list. I've "rescued" two old autograph albums belonging to George H. MOTTINGER of Illinois. The albums contain entries from both family and friends dating from 1878 to 1883, including from George's brother Arthur L. MOTTINGER, his sister Ida MOTTINGER, and other ANGLEMIRE and BOPP Family members. Based on limited research I was able to locate the following information regarding George and his family: George Henry MOTTINGER was b. 16 Jul 1862 in Joliet, IL to parents Noah Daniel MOTTINGER (b. 10 Sept 1837 in Greensburg, OH-1921) and Mildred Rosette or Rosetta Lucyetta A. ANGLEMIRE or ANGLEMEIR (b. 7 Sept 1836 in Mt. Bethel, PA-1921). George was one of 5 children born to this couple including George Henry; Amy May; Arthur Lewis; Ida Belle; and Gertrude Estelle MOTTINGER, all born between 1863 and 1876. George was married more than once, first to Caroline KIMES, then Martha P. BOPP (1860-1909) and then after Martha's death to Olga E. WESTERMEYER (1881-1943). George died 14 Jul 1936 in Pasco, WA and is buried in the Riverview Heights Cemetery in Kennewick, WA. His first wife Martha was b. 20 Sept 1860 in Hawkeye, IA to parents John Michael BOPP and Margaretha SCHMIDT. Martha and George married 28 Aug 1882 in Windsor, IA, later moving to the Dakotas and then to Walla Walla, WA in 1892. They moved into Umatilla, OR where they taught school for a few years and then decided on farming in Washington State. Martha died 14 May 1909 in Pendleton, OR where she was being treated for typhoid fever and is buried in the Hawkeye Cemetery in Hawkeye, IA. Arthur Lewis MOTTINGER was b. 20 Sept 1868 in DuPage Township, Will Co., IL to the same parents. Arthur married Lorena Algaretta "Retta" WEBB (1874-1937) and together they had three children, Neva Geraldine; Verna Algaretta; and Eugene Lewis MOTTINGER, all born between 1898 and 1912. Arthur also had a sister Gertrude Estelle MOTTINGER (1875-1959). Arthur was a VP at the Goodrich Rubber Company in Akron, OH and died 6 Oct 1935 in Akron, OH and is buried in the Highland Park Cemetery in Highland Hills, OH. Clara ANGLEMIRE was b. abt 1865 in IL to parents Emanuel ANGLEMIRE (b. 19 Jun 1810 in Northampton Co. PA) and Mary Anna DILLDINE. Elizabeth ANGELMIRE was b. 26 Oct 1866 in Plainfield, IL to the same parents and d. 2 Jul 1938 in Joliet, IL and is buried in the Naperville Cemetery in Naperville, IL.
