I've "rescued" an old autograph album belonging to Mary LILLY including inscriptions from family and friends including sisters Ora and Hettie LILLY. Based on limited research I was able to gather the following information regarding Mary and her family: Ora Belle LILLY was b. 19 Dec 1865 in Oregon to parents Silas Norman LILLY (b. 18 Dec 1830 in Oneida, NY-d. 8 Jun 1913 in Corvallis, OR) and Lucinda Ann HARDIE (b. 28 Jul 1844 in Millersburg, IL-d. 18 Jul 1893 in Corvallis, OR). It appears that Ora was one of 9 children born to this couple including, Sidi LILLY (1861-1863); Leslie LILLY (1863-1945); Ora Belle LILLY (1865-1930); Clara L. or Norman LILLY (1868-1953); Frank L. LILLY (1870-1963); Hettie A. (b. 1874); Mary Ellen LILLY (1875-1970); Arthur Austin LILLY (1880-1967); and Ruth Laura or Laura Ruth LILLY (1888-1987). Ora Belle married William C. CORBETT (b. 24 Nov 1859-d. 20 Feb 1921 in Benton Co. OR) and had at least four children including, Walter R. CORBETT (1890-1912); Ruth CORBETT (1892-1978); Grace CORBETT (1894-1943); and Philip Lynn CORBETT (1898-1951). Ora Belle LILLY CORBETT died 4 May 1930 in Polk Co. OR and is buried in the Crystal Lake Cemetery in Corvallis, OR. Mary Ellen LILLY was b. Oct 1875 in Portland, OR to the same parents. Mary Ellen married William Seneca CARVER (1870-1940) and died 21 Feb 1970 in Benton Co. OR and is buried in the Crystal Lake Cemetery in Corvallis, OR. Census records provide the following information: 1870 census of Corvallis, OR: S. N. LILLY, age 39, a Farmer, born NY Lucinda A. LILLY, age 25, Keeping House, born IL Leslie LILLY, age 7, born OR Ora Bell LILLY, age 4, born OR Clara LILLY, age 2, born OR + 1 Farm Hand 1880 census of Corvallis, OR: Silas N. LILLY, age 49, a Farmer, born NY, parents born NY Lucinda A. LILLY, wife, age 35, Keeping House, born IL, parents born ME/IN Leslie LILLY, son, age 16, a Farm Laborer, born OR Ora B. LILLY, dau, age 14, Keeping House, born OR Clara LILLY, dau, age 12, at School, born OR Frank LILLY, son, age 9, born OR Hettie A. LILLY, dau, age 6, born OR Mary E.
