Hello, I'm a new kid on your list. My husband's grandfather, William Watkin Williams, was the Director of the School of Commerce at the Lawrence University after 1905. He wrote a system of shorthand and a text on bookkeeping. He taught blind children how to write until his death at 85 years of age. He immigrated to Portland, Oregon around 1905. He had lived there for 46 years before his death in 1951. His wife's name was Jennie Aldine "Dinah" Tufts. He taught blind children how to write until his death at 85 years of age. I would like to find out more about his life and his family. If anyone can assist me, it would be greatly appreciated. Sharon
