The only "index" I'm aware of is the 1920 Soundex for the entire state of Oregon, which is on 69 rolls. Typically, what one does is order the Soundex roll that covers the name one is looking for (e.g., roll 67 "W-421 Alfred H. - W-452 Ivor") and use that to find the Enumeration District and page number of the person(s) one is looking for. Send me the full names of the person(s) you are looking for (and state of birth and approximate age if you have it) and I will look them up in the Soundex for you on Tuesday.
