Dear Listners, If someone knows a likely Portland newspaper(s) to check for an obituary in 1935 would you please send it along to me? My grandfathers death certificate says he lived at 4526 N.E. 10th Street in Portland when he died on 08 Nov 1935. The funeral home is no longer in business but I was I was able to locate the crematorium. They told me his wife, Stella (no nee) TAYLOR had taken his remains to Oregon City for burial, however he was not in the two cemetaries I contacted there. Harry Morton TAYLOR b 23 April 1883 in Nebraska has been missing since 1912. His only known son, my dad Paul Wingard TAYLOR b 1908 OH, died in 1965 with no word of him since then.
