There are over 108,000 records in all, and access is free. Will you please let your GenWeb site visitors and mailing list subscribers know about this resource? The URL is: http://www.interment.net/data/us/or/multnomah/willanat/index.htm Or if you'd like, you can use this link: http://www.interment.net/us/or/multnomah.htm The U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs provided these records to us, which came from their computer system. Most of them were transcribed by VA staff from original "Record of Interment" forms. Thanks, Steve Johnson Interment.net http://www.interment.net< This is true, and the info has been posted for quite a while. BUT, users should be aware that it is an uncorrected database. The burial cards from Willamette National were input in Washington - and then that database was returned to the Willamette National office for proofing and correction. This database is the unproofed version. Willamette National has not completed their portion of the work as of yet. Bottom line is, use the database - it's great to have it. But, remember, it's not complete or 100% correct yet - though I shouldn't say that - no database will ever be 100% correct. Let's just say it's not as correct as it will be. Whether this website will update with the corrected database when it's availableI don't know.
