It was mentioned in Ed's 1911 obit that ED WILLIAMS married EVALETT COLLINS in Portland , OR in abt 1888. she was possibly eva collins hoffman or crandall when she married Ed because she was married 2 times and her first husband died young, and I think Ed was her 2nd husband. Are there any records in Portland for marriages that old? are there any indexes available on Or marriages from that time period? any info/ideas would help. Was there a Portland newspaper at that time?
