Hi Derrick Do you know where in Multnomah county your ancestor lived? A lot of fruit farms were in Hood River (which is not Multnomah county but has LOTS of fruit farms.) But, back in the late 1800's his fruit farm could have been just about anywhere. If you can narrow down to a city it would help. Doneva Shepard, Gresham, OR (where there were a few fruit farms but more berries.)
