Hi Pat... I think you were probably remembering our conversations regarding Multnomah Cemetery, pioneer type cemetery. I think the address I had been given was SE 82nd and Holgate. Is that is the same vicinity you were talking about? I am looking for Myra Wilson, d April 1932. Will be grateful for any information.......supposedly she was buried by Jacobson Co. - who is no longer in business, and nobody seems to know where their funeral records are now domiciled. Thanks.... I am sorry, but I must have deleted your email address, and I dont recall which list you were on.... so I will post here in hopes you see this: While snooping thru the 1933 Polk's Portland, OR city directory I found the listing for "Multnomah Cemetery" . However, there was also a listing for "Multnomah Park Cemetery" right below it... They do appear to be the same cemetery, as you will see below.... Listing in 1933 Polks city of Portland, OR directory: Multnomah Cemetery 82nd SE corner 45th ave SE Multnomah Park Cemetery 82nd btwn 45th and 46th aves SE It may have been that the cemetery just expanded?? Anyone else on this list know?? But the addresses are the same... When I was there taking pics last week, I did not walk the whole area, and did not notice if one area was older than another. If I get out that way in the next couple weeks, I will see if I cant identify any separation in the cemetery.
