    3. I am planning a vacation in July and was wondering where to locate records for Birth in 1912 in Multnomah county. Are they held at the court house, or somewhere else. I also need to know where several other records can be located in Lane County and if they are held at the State Archives in Salem. Specifically I am looking for Marriage and birth records for 1910 and 1912 and possibly any divorce records for about 1915 in Multnomah county. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Liz

    1. [ORMULTNO-L] Knute TELIN from Portland
    2. Julie Kidd
    3. Lynne - There are numerous resources available, most of which you can order into a local family history center. Give us some more details. Do you have a birthdate? Did he die in Oregon -- do you think the family stayed in Portland? Have you located him in any censuses - you've got 1900, 1910, and 1920 to search? Have you checked city directories? They exist for Portland beginning in 1863. And what is the purpose of your search. Are you looking for his descendant, for information about his ancestry, or just info about his life?
