Hi, I am trying to find information about the SCHOOL for the DEAF that was or is in Marion County Oregon. My stepfathers name, CECIL ROSS, is listed as an inmate in the 1910 Federal Census of this school. I need to know if children were put there for other reasons, how I could find the names of the parents to be certain this is him, and where his mother and siblings were at this time. They are not listed on any census for this year. He was born in 1899 so the age [12] is about right. I have contacted the State Archives and they cant find any thing except the census listing him. The Marion County Hist. Society doesnt have any thing so I need help! Any one have any information about this school? Thank You, Phyllis pdc@thegrid.net
