Cathy do>you live in this area ? Any one? >Dan > Hi Dan, I live in Scio area which is east Linn County....And I think I know the book you are referring to about the Gates Cemetery....Wonderful source. Anyone who doesn't take you up on your offer to look up information is missing some good "stuff". And don't be sorry, because your first query about the McMillan Mill is what made me think someone was interested. I understand there is a group in the Stayton area who meet, but I have never been to the group. My roots are actually Linn County, but I have been working on the cemeteries in East Linn County since 1985. This year I have been doing more to get the information online. By the way, if you see any "typos" or information in the Gates cemetery information, I would certainly appreciate corrections or additions. It is so easy to make errors, and my goal is to have it correct. As far as a gen. group for the Santiam Canyon, I haven't heard of one, yet. Cathy
