Dear List, I am searching for Smiths by tracking my Grandparents Clay and Maud (Willard) Smith back through the various places they lived. Five of their ten children were born in Marion Co., OR, the last two in Turner, Marion Co., OR.. My Great Grandfather James M. Willard is buried in the Rosedale Cemetery in Marion Co., OR, he died in Salem on Dec. 1, 1929. Maybe someone knows the family? Thanks, Denise Smith Clay C. Ten Children born to them: 1. Hattie Grace Smith born April 19, 1907, Pratt Co., KS 2. Living 3. Clyde Gray Smith born May 14, 1910, Preston, Pratt Co., KS 4. Clarence Ray Smith born Sept. 14, 1912, Stafford, Stafford Co., KS 5. Chester Earnest Smith born Sept. 2, 1915, Jefferson, Marion Co., OR 6. Cecil C. Smith born July 7, 1917, Marion Co., OR, died Nov. 18, 1919, Adair Co., OK Cecil wandered off from home at the age of 16 months. Family, friends and neighbors searched for him for over 4 days before finding him in the woods. He died from exposure. 7. Clifford Leeurtis Smith born Aug. 12, 1920 Proctor, Adair Co., OK. 8.
