    3. Hello, I thank you for the timely reply. I have obtained a copy of your referenced Scotts Mills History 1846-1919. I was never close to my father George Brooks Van Arnam b. Silverton 1906 d. Anchorage 1995 and his family. Am therefore searching for any piece of information to put the Van Arnam and Lawrence family picture together. Again many thanks for your kind assistance. 3. Don, I was at the east Salem FHC tonight and found a book "Scotts Mills, Oregon, A Continuing History 1846-1919" This book listed the Van Arnam children attending Alder Creek School in 1893. The Jacob Van Arnam family is listed as residing in the area during 1900 and 1910. This book also list Edward C & H.W. Tozier and Dunagan's in the area were Crescent, Elizabeth M., Etta, Manilla, Thomas M. Jr and Sr, Viola and Willis. On the cover of this book is Scotts Mills Historical Society, P.O. Box 80, Scotts Mills, Oregon 97375. Scotts Mills is a very small town so even if the Historical Society isn't using that box # any longer, a letter would get to them. 3. Wilhoit Springs used to be a resort type area and is south of Molalla, OR in Clackamas CO. I believe the property is privately owned at the present. My husband said that a relative told him that a person could still go there to get mineral water. It at one time was a park with cabins and I guess was quite the popular place. It is near the end of Wilhoit road. If you would turn right before getting there the road would lead to Scotts Mills.
