    3. Hello I am new to this list. I have a marriage certificate showing the marriage of George Gregory to Elizabeth Smith (sister to my ggrandmother). George Gregory was a seaman from Albany U.S.A. I presume George was from Oregon and was from a whaling ship as there were a lot of American whalers in the Southern ocean in those days,although i could be wrong. George Gregory's parents were Samuel and Mitchell (as spelt) George was born c1831. Is there anyone in Albany looking for a stray family member,I would be pleased to pass on any information i have.     3. Hi, I'm thinking that the Albany is Albany NY. I checked the 1905 and 1870 census for Linn Co. OR. But no Gregory with these names.
