This project was accomplished using both local funds and federal ISTEA grant funds awarded through ODOT'S Enhancement Program. This event will occur during National Historic Preservation week at the Santiam Travel Station located on Third Street between Grant and Sherman Streets in downtown Lebanon. The celebration will include: *Ribbon cutting. *A short presentation about how this project came to be. *Presentation of plans for the second phase of restoration and total project completion. *Presentation of projected future uses of the completed facility. *Sharing of stories from former train depot users and affiliates. *Refreshments ! Everyone is welcome at this community-wide celebration. We have planned a short and fun filled event and we hope that you can join us for this special occasion.
