There is an barely readable FHM(metal marker) at Bilyeu Den Cemetery. I believe this obituary identifies this person: Scio-Wilda Adora Philips, 81, died Thursday October 19 1989 in Lebanon. She was born May 15, 1908 in Jordan and was a lifelong Scio-area resident. She was a homemaker, and she renjoyed rockhounding, hiking, fishing and flowers. She married Gail R. Phillips on April 22, 1927 in Albany. He died in 1968. Survivors include her daughter, Shirley James of Scio; son, Kenneth of Mehama; and brothers, Delmer Pepperling of Redmond and Wilbur Pepperling of Gold Beach. Services were held Oct 23 at Weddle mortuary, Stayton.
