Sep 29 1893 issue Scio Tribune Guardian's sale The undersigned guardian of the minor heirs of Otto Serfling, deceased will on the 14th day of October, 1893, at the hour of 10 o'clock A.M. at the farm known as the Otto Serfling farm, about 4 miles southwest of Scio, sell at public auction, to the highest bidder, all of the personal property belonging to the minor heirs of said deceased, set apart by order of the county court, of Linn County, Oregon for the support of the said minor heirs, consisting of: 1 roan mare 6 years olds, 1 roan mare 7 years olds, 2 cows, 2 calves, 8 hogs, 20 sheep, a large amount of farming utensils, consisting of wagon, plows, harrows, harness, binder, mower and hay rake and all of the household furniture formerly belonging to said deceased. TERMS-Cash in hand for all sums under $5. For all sums over $5, time will be given not exceeding one year, with interest at 8 percent with approved security.
