A few weeks ago the obituary of Ex Linn county Clerk Nimrod P. Payne appeared on this list. It noted he was born Dec 16, 1843 (this was in Vermilion Co., IL.) He died March 9 1895, in Linn co. and [left] "a wife and ten children to mourn his death." I believe the wife was Rosina Colver. This marriage is recorded in Linn Co. as being 2 Aug 1868.
