Lebanon Express Jan 22, 1969 Harold A. Dibble, 332 N. Olson Dr. Jefferson, died Jan, 19 at Albany General Hospital of cancer. He was born Dec, 27, 1903 at Lebanon and attended grade and high school here. After a year at Oregon State University he moved to Portland were he worked in the shipyards during World War II. He returned to Albany in 1945 where he lived until moving to Jefferson in 1962. He was a welder at Wah Chang in Albany before his retirement. He was a member of Albany Lodge #359, BPOE. He married Delberta Howell Feb. 26, 1948 at Vancouver, WA, who survives. (buried in the Brownsville Pioneer Cemetery) In addition he is survived by a daughter, the reverend, Mrs. Patricia Keiser, Salem; brother Ronald Dibble, Pasadena, CA; sister, Mrs. Ethel Sylvester, Lebanon; (buried in the Lebanon IOOF cemetery) five grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. A son, Darryl, died while in the service during the Korean War in 1953. Funeral services will be Thursday, 2 p.m. at the Fisher Mortuary, Albany, the Rev. Edwin L. Keiser officiating. Interment will be at the IOOF Cemetery here.
