Hi Listers. I'm also very interested in the Pierce/Turnidge info, because Delilah Lane Pierce, the last of their children, was my grandmother. Delilah married Silas Edward Swift, and my mother, Mary Elizabeth Swift, was their 4th child, born in Whitman County, Washington. BTW, I show that Emily Jane Turnidge was born 01 Feb 1839 in the city of Oregon, Holt County, Missouri. Anyway, I'm delighted to have this new info, and will appreciate anything additional that might be found. Also, I'd be happy to share what I have, but I think I would probably not be able to add much to what Crystal already has. If you could find when and who she married it might give you a time frame when Sameul died. It said Emily was born in Oregon but from the census she was born in Missouri and her family was one of the first families to come over on the Applegate trail to Oregon. 11.
