I wasn't able to locate Rodgers Mountain on a map but I did find that George Hall lived near Eli Rodgers on the 1880 Linn Co. OR Census. Eli C. Rodgers had a Donation Land Claim in the Scio area. The mountain was most likely named after this family. His claim was located about 3 miles east of Scio in the foothills of the Cascade Mountains. I was very intrigued by the names of George's children. Do you have the 1880 Census for this family? How about the 1905 Linn Co. OR State Census? For the rest who read this, George had the following children: Oak Dale, Elmwood, Beech Glenn, Spruce Vale, Iva Vine and others.
