I live in Tigard, Or. and am researching the KING, McDOWELL, WRIGHT, TYCER, DAVIS lines. I have met up with a nice lady who lives in Salem and drove down to her house just yesterday. She is "older" (as she put it) and gave me to "FIND" a "HOME"- her FAMILY CARY BIBLE AND HER "MCDOWELL/CARY" PHOTO ALBUM. These were given to her by her uncle years ago and she is not a CARY. I am related to the CARY's but it is my great-great grandmother's brother who is the McDowell who married a CARY. So these are NOT "directly" related to me either. We both would like to find a proper home for them. These CARY's- McDOWELL's used to live in Linn County- Crawfordsville, and then some of them moved to Salem, Oregon- Marion County.
