Does anyone have easy access to the 1860 Linn County Census? I'd like to see what's listed for the "Noble" name indexed on page 30. I'm trying to find the birthplace/parentage of my great-grandmother, Charity Noble. I suspect she may be the daughter of a William & Sarah Noble who homesteaded near Sweet Home, Oregon. Their land patent is in the township adjacent to the land patent of Bluford and Martha (Moore) Marks, parents of my great-grandfather James P. Marks, Charity's husband. Bluford and Martha arrived via the Oregon Trail from Missouri, with 7 children, registering at the Umatilla station September 21, 1853. Also, on the Sweet Home map I see a Marks Ridge, Marks Ridge Road and Marks Ridge Drive, which run through the original land patent of Bluford Brookins Marks.
