Hi, Just got the latest Linn County Historical Society's newsletter, and they've had a change in schedule from what I posted yesterday. (Drat - should have waited one more day!) The program scheduled for Sunday, March 12, 2000, which was listed as Richard Chesbrough's "Steamships on the Willamette" has been rescheduled for Sunday, January 21, 2001. The program for Sunday, March 12, 2000, will be "Two-Way Seeing," by Shannon Applegate and Esther Stutzman, descendants of Charlie Applegate and Chief Halo, and will be about relationships between the pioneers and Native Oregonians. Also, I mistakenly listed Jeanne Gentry Robinson as Jeanne Gentry Richardson for the upcoming program Sunday, January 16th, about the Linn County cemeteries. Jan Phillips [email protected]
