Item in the Willamette Valley Genealogy Society Newsletter, May issue. Historic Oregon Photographs! Do you want to work with historic Oregon photographs and manuscripts? Oregon State Library needs volunteers willing to donate a few hours each month to assist the State Library with indexing, reboxing and labeling of thousands of historic Oregon photographs and manuscripts. The photographs include early individual and group portraits of Oregonians, Oregon scenic views, historic buildings and houses. Currently there is no reliable index.
